One of the most popular foods available on the market is definitely chocolate. It comes in all kinds of shapes and colors, it`s sweet or bitter, simple or combined with lots of other great tasting ingredients such as nuts, dried fruits, etc. The only thing that might be not so good about it is the nutritional content that it comes with. But, of course there are good ways of enjoying this great dessert and this is what we are talking about here.


Cacao is a great for hormonal balance preventing mood swings, it protects your heart, prevents premature aging, it is a great source of antioxidants, has energizing properties, boosts metabolism, a good source of healthy fats and in the form of cocoa butter it is very useful both externally as a skin moisturizer and internally, as the base for great raw desserts. Cocoa butter can also be used as sunscreen, it is a powerful immune booster and also popular for its use for preventing or treating stretch marks.
Raw chocolate is a great choice of a healthy, delicious dessert and it is very simple and easy to make. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to get the mixture for the chocolate and about another 15 minutes to get a firm texture.

The ingredients are:
1/2 cup carob powder
2-3 Tbs cocoa butter
1 Tbs coconut oil
2-3 Tbs agave syrup or maple syrup
a few raspberries, fresh or frozen
1 tbs orange peel.
We mix the ingredients in a bowl and then we pour the chocolate in a shape of choice, we put it in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes or until it gets a firm texture and then we can enjoy the lovely flavors of this home made healthy chocolate.
We might also add a few coconut flakes and orange peel to decorate the pieces of chocolate and make them look amazing. We can also use orange essential oil for a stronger taste, but orange peel is also enough if we just want to give it a scent of orange flavor. Other essential oils can also be used, such as lemon, mint, cinnamon etc. Experiment with raw textures and flavors and find your favorite raw chocolate taste!
