Avocados are a wonderful source of healthy fats being very easy to mix with other foods in the raw vegan kitchen and a  versatile tool for obtaining lovely looking meals. Avocados are a great source of potassium, monounsaturated fatty acids, and also have a high fiber content, which is very important for the optimal function of our bodies.

Avocados can be included both in main courses and desserts in the raw vegan recipes which is a great thing. A nice way to enjoy the lovely taste and texture of those fruits is a simple dip that you can make by mixing them with lemon juice, olive oil and a few spices of your choice such as basil, garlic, oregano, onion, etc. Mixing them with bell peppers  and cherry tomatoes also makes an absolutely delicious tasting dish.

Avocados are also a great addition to any fresh salad mix, leafy greens, olive pate or just any veggie salad. Their creamy texture also makes them an amazing addition to smoothies and veggie pates. For example you can mix them with lemon juice/ orange juice and a bunch of fresh greens, such as spinach leaves or parsley and you have got a great morning breakfast idea to try for a lovely boost of vitality starting from the first hours of the day.

Talking about the creamy texture of those fruits, another beautiful way in which you can enjoy their goodness is to make a raw cake filling cream by simply mixing the avocados with a few tablespoons of agave syrup, coconut syrup or any other healthy sweetener of your choice and some cocoa powder or carob powder and a lovely chocolate cream is made. You can either eat it by itself or pour it on top of a tasty raw cake crust.
