Cashew is a great ingredient to use in the raw food kitchen and in the making of raw goodies. It is both deliciously tasting and a healthy addition to any raw veggie pate that you are making or any raw dessert and also an amazing source of nutrients that your body so hardly needs. Cashews are great for making raw vegan drinks, creams and salad dressings. One very simple dressing for your salads that tastes absolutely divine is the combination of the following ingredients: cashews, lemon juice, nutritional yeast flakes, a little bit of garlic and of course some water to help the ingredients make a creamy texture when mixing them in the blender. This by itself is delectable, but if you wish to get an even more savory taste, you can definitely do this by adding some dried tomatoes or olives to the recipe. This tastes totally amazing and you are just going to love it.

Another use of beautiful cashews is in the making of raw cream fillings for wonderful cakes or simple savory smoothies. For example we can make cashew cream just by simply mixing the cashews with water, lemon juice, agave nectar or any other healthy sweetener of our choice, vanilla and we can also add some dates if we wish for a caramel like taste. There are definitely a lot of possible combinations of flavors, just feel free to experiment by adding things like spices: cinnamon, ginger, etc, essential oils such as mint, lemon, orange, etc or superfoods like maca, guarana, acai, etc to your recipes and discover amazingly tasting raw food experiences.

Pour your sweet cashew cream in a nice looking glass and enjoy it with some fresh, good looking strawberries on top. Strawberries are also a very healthy fruit choice, being full in vitamins and minerals, fibers and balanced in their sugar content. Strawberries go very well with this cashew cream so you can also share it with your friends and family members and enjoy together the happiness of eating healthy and feeling great in our own bodies.
