
A mix of dried fruits, some chocolate, vanilla or coconut flakes, a creamy pudding made with some chia seeds and sprinkled with some lovely spices and your first meal of the day is ready to eat. It is of course important to feed yourself properly but when it comes to timing of when one eats that is something that you have to find for yourself. As always, experience and find what works best for your amazing body, mind and spirit. Some basic guidelines are: best time to eat in order to absorb nutrients properly is during the first half of the day, but it also depends on your own schedule according to energy consumption levels and on when and how much you personally need, a balanced amount of your food intake, of course according again to your own needs, healthy choices and combinations of different food groups.
A pudding is a creamy and lovely dessert but it can also be a great start for your day, especially when mixed with nut, seeds as healthy balanced protein sources and super foods as concentrated sources of beneficial nutrients. Using some chia seeds, that expand when put in a liquid and turn into a pudding like consistency, as the base for our meal we can combine them with some nut milk and with vanilla or coconut, one part and the other part with chocolate and make a two layers pudding. Add some healthy sweetener and your pudding is almost done. Finally we decorate the pudding with some coconut flakes, mint leaves or some dried fruits such as figs.

Another great idea for morning puddings is using bananas as a starter and mix them with different lovely, healthy ingredients. For example we can mix bananas with some nut milk, maca, coconut oil and vanilla, pour this savory delight in a wonderful glass and decorate it with some dried raisins, hemp seeds, orange peel and some cinnamon. Bananas are pretty sweet but if you wish for more sweetness you can always add some healthy sweetener of your choice to the recipe, such as agave nectar, maple syrup, coconut nectar, etc.
A touch of spice is what makes things great and also brings all kinds of benefits to our health such as: high sources of antioxidants, protecting heart health, regulating blood sugar levels as natural as possible, improvement of brain functions, helping digestion, improving the immune system`s functioning etc so feel free to add some cinnamon, nutmeg, mint, ginger etc to your recipes and improve your health on a constant basis.
