Spring is a time for renewal and rejuvenating both your body and soul, clear your mind, enjoy a nice walk in the park or even better, in the forest, far away from the city crowds and noises that invade our private spaces each time we go outside on the street, or just a simple walk in nature. Fresh air is great for a focused, centered mind, all of your body cells and a good reason to just take a break and then come back with even more energy in order to get your job done. We do need to spend time in nature on a daily basis and to move our bodies because both those things keep us in touch with our selves and help us get better health and have a more balanced lifestyle.

A lovely boost of energy is found in green foods, all packed with nutritious chlorophyll which just gives them amazing qualities: alkalizing foods, refreshing, energizing, satisfying and fulfilling, all packed with good fiber, vitamins and minerals. Nature is a great friend of the human being as long as we learn to live in peace, harmony and balance with all of it`s shapes, forms and beings. Plant foods are filled with solar energy as well as they receive it from the sun and then pass it on to us as we enjoy those green goodies in our smoothies, salads and other raw vegan delights.

Another great source of concentrated green nutrients are sprouts which only take a small amount of time and care taking in order to grow them from seeds into small plants. Their small leaves and tiny tail are an absolutely delicious addition to any raw salad, salad dressing, veggie pate or veggie roll, such as a cucumber roll or a zucchini roll, or any other nice dish of your choice. Bringing a nice flavor to raw recipes, sprouts are very easy to incorporate in a healthy lifestyle as you basically  just sprinkle some of them on top of your food and then enjoy the goodness. Some of the sprouts have a stronger and spicier taste as they come from plants such as radish, fenugreek, aragula, while other varieties have a softer taste and go well for beginners as they get used to the sprouting and incorporating sprouts experience.

As we dive into a new season of green goodies, good looking salad varieties and we taste some sprouts, our health gets better day by day and we find peace, mind clarity and life to be more fulfilling and joyful. There is always an opportunity to make things better just waiting for you out there to get it and enjoy it`s benefits. A life in balance is a life worth living as you unlock your full potential and believe in the power of being your true self and always true to yourself.
