
One lovely idea to enjoy the first greens of this spring season is to incorporate them in a creamy salad made with avocado and lemon juice. This salad is very simple and easy to take, you can enjoy it at home or take it with you on a busy day, it only takes 5-10 minutes to be ready and is absolutely delicious.
Here are the ingredients that we need in order to make this beautiful salad:
1-2 cups mix of fresh greens
1 avocado
juice of 1/2 lemon
2-3 tbs nutritional yeast flakes
a few olives
1-2 tbs cold pressed olive or argan oil.
Mix all of the ingredients together and then taste the goodness of this savory recipe made with fresh ingredients, full of nutrients, vitamins, minerals and tasty creamy avocado.

Salads are great, especially now in the warm season when they are local, fresh, abundant in chlorophyll and amazingly looking and go very well with all kinds of nuts, seeds, spices and nuts or seeds veggie pates, avocados and cold pressed oils such as argan oil, olive oil, coconut oil etc. Try adding also some sprouts, a great source of concentrated nutrients and enzymes, and some lemon juice which tastes amazing when mixed with avocados or seeds, nuts and some nutritional yeast flakes. Fresh or dried spices can also be used in salad. some of the you can grow by yourself in small pots as they only require a small amount of care taking and are pretty easy to be grown indoors, for example: basil, parsley, oregano etc.
