Just because we are talking about salads and sprouts does not mean that everything is supposed to be green. Spring is a season of color and joy, smile and happiness and also a time of renewal and a fresh start for our bodies to enjoy more freshness as more and more produce are grown locally and using sustainable methods in the process of evolution of each community.

Veggies come in all shapes and colors and the more colors we bring to our tables and our dishes, the more happiness and joy we encounter in our lives. It is important to always have diversity in ones food choices and rotating your foods at the same time with experimenting with new ones can only bring more balance. The key to living a fulfilling life is finding balance and finding what works best for yourself because we are all different individuals and while we do have some common preferences and needs there is still a matter of designing your own model of lifestyle choices that suits you best.

One very simple and fulfilling salad that you can make is a hemp salad, it takes only 10 minutes to be made and it is colorful, delicious and a wonderful choice to incorporate more greens and veggie goodies in your lifestyle. Here are the ingredients that you need:

1-2 cups mix of greens: radicchio rosso, frisee lettuce, valerian salad

1-2 celery stalks

2-3 Tbs hemp seeds

2-3 Tbs mix of nutritional yeast flakes, basil, oregano

1-2 Tbs cold pressed olive of argan oil.

As always feel free to improvise and use some more spices if you wish, combine the salad with some olives can also be a nice choice or even substitute those greens with others in order to find which ones of them you enjoy most. Sprinkle it with some love and share the raw vegan goodies with your friends and loved one. The more aware and conscious we became, the more easy it is for each of us to design our own version of a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle, bringing peace, balance and a focused mind at the same time with a fit body and a creative soul.
