Pineapple is a lovely and delicious fruit with amazing health properties such as: improvement of the immune system, heart function and circulation and also a wonderful source of fiber and enzymes which are absolutely great for our digestion.

Fiber as we know is great friend of the human body simply because it helps the passage of food through the digestive tract and also stimulates the release of gastric and digestive juices helping also the body to detoxify more efficiently by absorbing the toxins and taking them out of the body, which is what insoluble fiber does.
