It is summer all ready and as we all know it is very important to take care of our bodies and most importantly of our way of keeping in balance nutrients intake and water balance. We need to hydrate ourselves but we also have to be doing this in a natural way, as a balanced response to our needs.

A great way to hydrate ourselves and make a lovely practice of it is to flavor the water we drink with different aromas and make it more fun and enjoyable. We can mix it with fruits, veggies, spices or drink good quality juices which also have this effect such as green juices, veggie juices. A simple and delicious way to enjoy a wonderful and healthy drink is to make a flavored lemonade. Mint lemonade is refreshing and a wonderful choice for a quick drink in the afternoon just to get a nice boost of freshness and pure energy.

For making this mint lemonade we need the following ingredients:

200 ml lemon juice

100 ml water

2-3 tbs agave nectar

ginger juice

mint leaves.

Ginger is a great energizer and also a good friend for our digestive systems so it can be a wonderful companion for a healthy, vibrant lifestyle. We just need 2-3 tbs of this in order to get a little touch of the spicy ginger for our lemonade. We use a blender to mix the lemon juice with water, agave syrup, ginger juice and mint leaves. Finally we just pour our juice in a nice cup and enjoy it`s spicy and refreshing taste.
