Making nut butters at home is easy and simple. All we have to do is get some nuts and basically just throw then in a food processor. Of course we can add some more flavors and textures to our nut butter recipes by simply mixing those nuts with spices or super foods of our choice.

This nut butter from the photo has more of a crunchy texture because I just love it this way but I also enjoy the smooth versions of nut butters as well.
For making this delicious nut butter we need the following ingredients:
200 g nuts
2-3 tbs coconut oil
2-3 tbs cacao butter
maca
guarana
2-3 tbs agave nectar
2-3 tbs cacao or carob powder.
We use a food processor to mix the ingredients for a few minutes until they stick together and get a thick, sticky consistency or we can mix them more if we want it to be smoother.
