
There is nothing that can taste better than coconut! I just love all coconut based products: coconut flakes, coconut flour, coconut milk, coconut oil, coconut chips, coconut butter and so on and I truly believe that coconut recipes taste divine. Of course there are many healthy foods that we can eat and that we need to eat in order to have variety and get all kinds of nutrients that our bodies need but anytime I want some cozy and tasty dessert for myself I would go for the coconut products.
There are more and more organic brands launching businesses and products and marketing themselves in a cute way and some of them are really a great choice but as always the best way to know what is inside the food that you are eating is to make it by yourself. The good think with making raw vegan goodies and recipes is that they are so simply and easy to make and they are ready in no time. Yum!
Coconut chocolate balls are absolutely divine and the good thing is that no blender is necessary for making them so this recipe is really easy and affordable to make. The ingredients that we need are:
100 g coconut flakes
100 g soaked dates
3-4 tbs agave nectar
3-4 tbs melted coconut oil.
All we have to do is mix them all together and then roll this mixture into balls, put them in the fridge for 10-20 minutes and then they are ready to be covered in chocolate glaze.
For the chocolate glaze we need:
50 g carob powder
3-4 tbs agave nectar
3-4 tbs coconut oil
1/2 cup nut milk of your own choice.
Same thing we do here and mix them all together until we have a smooth and creamy consistency which then we spread on top of our coconut balls, get them back in the fridge for another 10-20 minutes and they are ready to be served.

Coconut products are nutritious and delicious and they are a wonderful choice for making healthy desserts.
