This recipe is a wonderful mix between coconut flakes, cinnamon and orange flavors, and caramel like tasting coconut sugar. Coconut sugar is a healthy sweetener that is great for making bars and cakes and all kinds of delicious goodies. As I have already said it tastes a little bit like caramel and it is absolutely great. I sometimes like to sprinkle it on top of cakes, rolls and other delicious raw vegan sweets just for the beautiful looks that it gives to those recipes.

I love coconuts so I have decided to try and make a new coconut roll recipe. The key ingredient that I used this time is a combination of flax seeds flour and a mix of sunflower seeds and sesame seeds flour. This seed flour is actually very easy to make by simply blending the seeds in a blender until they reach a powder like consistency so, we can either buy it from a healthy foods store or we can simply make it at home.
So, for this coconut sugar roll we need the following ingredients:
White layer
100 g coconut flakes
juice of 2 oranges
1 tsp maca powder
3-4 tbsp coconut oil
3-4 tbsp agave nectar.
Brown layer
100 g flax seeds flour
100 g mix of grind sunflower and sesame seeds
1-2 tsp coconut sugar
1-2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 cup- 1 cup water, or as much as needed to get a sticky consistency.
We mix in separate bowls the ingredients for each layer until they reach the desired consistency. We want a creamy consistency for the white layer and a sticky and thick consistency for the brown layer. When both layers are ready we mix them together and make our beautiful and delicious raw vegan roll.

Final step is to decorate our lovely roll with some coconut chips and some savory coconut sugar. We can put it in the fridge then for about 1-2 hours or we can enjoy it right away. It is creamy and smooth, delicious and fulfilling and a great recipe to share with your lovely friends and family members and you can even bring it as a beautiful gift to a meal that you are joining and spread the word about the deliciousness of eating healthy sweets and healthy raw vegan foods.
