It`s winter time so it is about time to make some raw vegan delights. Raw vegan desserts are actually good for us because they are filled with healthy sugars and healthy fats and some of them are even a great source of fiber and delicious nutrients. The most beautiful thing about raw vegan recipes is that they are so easy to make and they are actually really quick so if you are craving something sweet, having a raw vegan dessert is an easy and simple choice to make.

Peanut cookies come in many shapes and forms and I love to make them as a part of my recipes for desserts. I also like to use peanuts for brownies and even veggie spreads. Peanuts are a great source of fiber, healthy fats and a delicious add to a raw vegan dessert recipe. So, speaking of holiday season and peanut cookies here are the ingredients that we need for making those delicious and nutritious healthy goodies:

150 g peanuts

100 g raisins

100 g coconut flakes

maca powder

3-4 tbsp coconut oil

cinnamon.

We use a food processor to make our cookie dough and process these ingredients until we have a sticky and thick consistency. Next step is making our cookies by simply shaping them using some cookie cutters or even making some balls. When the cookies are ready we move on to the next phase which is, of course, making our delicious raw vegan chocolate glaze. For the glaze we need the following ingredients:

100 g raisins

50 g peanuts

2-3 tbsp agave nectar

maca powder

1/2 cup water

2-3 tbsp cacao butter and coconut oil

50 g carob powder.

We blend all of the ingredients for the glaze until we have a smooth and creamy consistency which we can now spread on top of our beautiful peanut cookies. Final step is to sprinkle some more coconut flakes on our cookies and allow them to sit in the fridge for a few hours.

Now all that if left is to enjoy our beautiful looking cookies with some of our beloved family members or close friends. It is a wonderful choice to make for a healthy and fulfilling snack or even dessert. A wonderful thing to remember during those times is to be grateful for each and every single day of our amazing lives as it contributes to the greater picture of our lives. Then, by learning to appreciate the small things happening in our lives we open up for even more goodness. We are all exactly where we are meant to be at this point in our lives simply because there is always a lesson to be learnt and of course, there is always something in our lives to be absolutely grateful for.
