Only a few more days are left until Christmas so today it is time for the next recipe of my Christmas recipes blog series. This delicious and amazing, creamy and delightful recipe for today is a walnut chocolate roll with an amazing coconut fluffy cream filling. I love making those delicious coconut, chocolate and walnut rolls and I think that they are also great for the holiday season. Walnuts and coconuts are wonderful sources of healthy fats while cacao is a great energizer and antioxidant for the body. This being said lets see what ingredients do we need for making this delicious recipe.

We are going to make two layers for this recipe, one will be the crust and the other one will be the cream filling. For the chocolate walnut crust we need the following ingredients:
200 g walnuts
100 g carob powder
2-3 tbsp agave nectar
juice of 1 orange
orange zest
2-3 tbsp coconut oil.
We use a food processor to mix those ingredients well until we get a sticky and thick consistency which we will then spread on a parchment paper in a thin layer. Moving on to the next step, lets see what are the ingredients that we need for the coconut cream filling.
For the coconut cream filling we use the following ingredients:
100 ml coconut milk
2-3 tbsp agave nectar
100 g coconut flakes
2-3 tbsp coconut oil
vanilla
maca.
We can simply mix those ingredients in a bowl by using a spoon or we can also blend them until we get a smooth and creamy consistency. Now all we have to do is to spread the coconut cream on top of the chocolate walnut layer, roll it and decorate it with some more coconut cream, orange zest and walnuts on top.

We can put it in the fridge for a few hours to settle before we taste it or we can even enjoy it right away.
