Every morning is a new opportunity to make healthy choices that feed both your body and your mind in a proper way that leaves you filled with energy and amazing joy. Cereals are great in the morning as they are a wonderful source of good fiber, carbohydrates and delicious nutrients. Of course we are talking here about whole foods, whole cereals, ideally cold pressed and as close as possible to their natural form. In order to be able to absorb all those delightful nutrients that a plant based diet provides we need to be eating most of our foods raw but still in order to make a change keep incorporating cooked foods until you get cozy with your new raw vegan approach to achieving a healthy and fulfilling life.

For our cereal bowl, which as I said before is a beautiful idea for a morning meal, but can also make a great snack, we need the following ingredients:
1 cup coconut milk
1 banana
1/2 cup mix of cereal flakes such as: oats, millet, amaranth, buckwheat etc.
2-3 tbsp mix of seeds: sesame, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia etc.
2-3 tbsp dried cranberries
coconut flakes
almond flakes
sweetener of choice if you feel like you want it to be more sweet.
We blend the banana and the coconut milk and then we mix them with the cereal flakes, mix of seeds in a beautiful bowl. Next step is to add the sweetener of choice if using one and then finally all we have to do is to just sprinkle the beautiful mix with some dried cranberries, coconut and almond flakes. If you want to add even more flavor to this delicious bowl you can add some vanilla or cinnamon to the coconut milk and mix it well.

All that if left now is to just take some time aside to enjoy this beautiful looking cereal bowl and to be grateful for being open minded to trying new things and finding better options to feed our minds and our bodies. Our minds need proper food in order to function at their best and we can all benefit by increasing our plant foods intake and slowly switching to a vegan diet. In time of course it becomes a lifestyle but just start small and then you will see that everything unfolds naturally as you move forward into this beautiful journey of becoming more and more aware each and every single day. Bring awareness into our day to day lives is a wonderful thing that we can do in order to improve our daily performances and to heal our bodies and minds of any illusions of disconnections as we dive deeply into the sea of joy and greatness that living a raw vegan life represents.
