Chocolate Coconut Candies

It is about time for another delicious and amazing raw vegan coconut delight and for this time I decided to mix those delicious coconut flakes with some absolutely delicious tasting cacao beans, some Brazil nuts and also some delightful cacao butter. I think that cacao and coconut based products are not just amazing and very nutritious foods but they also taste amazing and they are very pleasing to our eyes and this is what makes them so beautiful. If we love the way our food looks than we are definitely going to enjoy our meals and live healthy and amazing lives.

For making these delicious candies we need the following ingredients:

100 g coconut flakes

100 g cacao beans

100 g Brazil nuts

Maca powder

100 g dates

100 g raisins

3-4 tbsp cacao butter

3-4 tbsp coconut oil.

We use a food processor to mix those ingredients together until we have a thick and sticky consistency which is going to be the dough for our lovely candies. We roll the dough into small balls and we move on to the next step.

The next step is preparing the sweet and delicious raw vegan chocolate glaze. For the chocolate glaze we need the following ingredients:

1/2 cup dates

1/2 cup almond or coconut milk

3-4 tbsp cacao powder

3-4 tbsp cacao butter

3-4 tbsp coconut oil.

We use a blender and blend our ingredients for the chocolate glaze until we have a smooth and creamy consistency. At this point you can taste your chocolate glaze and see if you want it sweeter or more bitter and adjust by adding some more dates or cacao powder to the mixture. Feel free to make those adjustments in order to make these delicious goodies fit your own preferences.

All we have to do now is to just simply pour the chocolate glaze on top of each of our delightful candies and then sprinkle them with some coconut flakes or nut flakes on top. For sprinkling we can also use cacao powder or even coconut sugar. Feel free to improvise and decorate as you wish.

When our candies are ready, we just put then in the fridge for a while and then when they are settled down and ready to eat, we can take them out of the fridge and enjoy them.
