Chocolate Avocado Cake

Avocados are absolutely amazing. They are so creamy and dreamy and they make amazingly delicious raw vegan spreads, cake creams, tasty smoothies and even delightful veggie sandwiches. We can serve them as appetizers, main courses and even as desserts. Avocados make wonderful puddings and delightful veggie bowls and I just love to use them in all kinds of colorful and amazing raw vegan recipes. This time I am going to show you how to make an absolutely divine avocado and chocolate cake with a nice, crunchy dried fruits crust, sweet and tasty exotic citrus flavors and a nice creamy texture that you will absolutely love.

For this delicious chocolate avocado raw vegan cake we are going to need the following ingredients:

Crust

200 g rice flakes

3-4 tbsp agave nectar

200 g raisins

100 g coconut flakes

3-4 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp cacao butter

maca powder.

We use a food processor and mix all the ingredients together until we get a thick and sticky consistency. Once the crust is ready, we can take it our of the food processor and spread it on the bottom of a cake form of choice.

Cream

2 avocados

3-4 tbsp agave nectar

3-4 tbsp coconut oil

3-4 tbsp cacao butter

1 cup water

juice of 2 oranges

juice of 1 lemon.

We use a blender to mix the ingredients for the avocado cream and blend them until we get a smooth and creamy consistency. We take out around 3/4 of this mixture and pour it on top of our crust. We then add around 3-4 tbsp of cacao powder and around 1/2 cup water to the remaining 1/4 of the avocado cream and blend until smooth. We pour the chocolate cream and swirl it into the avocado cream and the avocado chocolate cake is ready to go to the freezer. We put the cake into the freezer for a few hours until it gets solid and then we can take it out of the freezer, sprinkle it with some delicious coconut flakes and enjoy a slice of this delightful goody.
