Raw vegan crackers are pretty fun and easy to make, so what is the secret actually to making them fresh and crisp? Well you can totally use a dehydrator, if you have one and that is all you need to know, but if you do not have a dehydrator and you would love to try some delicious vegan crackers, here is what you can do: you can use the oven or allow your crackers in the summer to just sit and dehydrate in a really warm place. That is it. It is just that simple. You can basically use your oven at a low temperature and your crackers are still going to be vegan and pretty awesome for you and some of your lovely friends if you decide to share this recipe with them. AMAZING!

Now lets see what ingredients we need to make those delicious and delightful raw vegan crackers:

1/2 cup flax seed meal

3-4  tbsp chia seeds

1/2 cup mix of seeds

3-4 nutritional yeast flakes

cold pressed oil of choice infused with spices

(mine was infused with garlic, oregano and dried tomatoes)

1 tbsp oregano, basil, preferably dried

some coconut oil to put on the bottom of your pan or to just incorporate in your mixture

1/2 cup water or more if needed.

We use a bowl to mix together all the ingredients until we get a thick and sticky consistency which we can then transfer into a form of choice in order to make the crackers. Next step is cutting your crackers and dehydrating them by using one of the three methods presented in the begging of this recipe: dehydrator, oven at low heat or sun dry in case its summer and you can find a pretty warm spot where you can leave your crackers in order to turn crunchy and delicious. When your crackers are ready we can take them and start decorating them with some delicious veggie spreads.

For my crackers I have used some lentil spread, some avocado mint spread and last but not least some beet and sunflower seeds spread. Some of those recipes you can already find here on my blog, as for the rest of them, they will get posted in the near future. Basically spread some of your favorite veggie creams on top of your crackers and you will definitely love this combination of crunchy and spicy from the crackers with the creamy and dreamy texture of the cream spreads.
