I love to add all kinds of spices and flavors to my smoothies so today is all about ginger and cinnamon. Another great powder like supplement that blends amazing into smoothies is spirulina. Spirulina is a wonderful natural and healthy food that is a great source of plant protein, it is a very nutrient dense food and it has such an amazing color. The taste might be a little bit awkward for some people so it might be hard to take spirulina on its own, but when it is mixed with delicious, fresh and crisp veggies and fruits it just turns into a beautiful tasting food. Just try it and you will see for yourself all of its amazing benefits!

Spirulina Cinnamon Smoothie

For this spirulina and cinnamon smoothie we need the following ingredients:

2 bananas

1 cup almond milk

1-2 tbsp agave nectar/  around 3 pitted dates

1-2 tbsp coconut oil

cinnamon

ginger

spirulina.

All we have to do is blend all the ingredients together until they reach a smooth consistency and then our smoothie is ready to be enjoyed.
