Raw vegan veggie spreads are absolutely amazing. They taste so refreshing and great and they are so easy to make. I love to use nuts and seeds and all kinds of veggies to make my raw vegan spreads. Raw vegan spreads can always be served with some delicious raw vegan crackers, some vegan and gluten free bread slices or just simply on top of some salad leaves or celery stalks. YUM! I also love to add all kinds of delicious spices to my spreads and just make them taste even more amazing, as they get more nutritional benefits as well.

Almond Basil Spread 1

For this basil and almond spread recipe we are going to need the following ingredients:

1/2 cup almond flour, or just peeled almonds

1/2 cup pitted  green olives

2-3 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes

1/2 cup water

2-3 tbsp coconut flour

2-3 tbsp flax seed flour.

We use a blender to mix all the ingredients together until they reach a smooth and creamy consistency, then we take our delcious spread out of the blender and pour it into a bowl of choice. Final step is to add, of course, some basil. We can either use fresh or dried basil and just mix it into the veggie spread. When our delicious spread is ready we can serve it right away on top of some delicious raw vegan crackers, gluten free vegan bread slices, or simply with some chopped celery. This spread is absolutely amazing and it tastes just great.
