Coconut Brownies

I love to make brownies and I love to use all kinds of coconut based producs, such as: coconut oil, coconut flakes, coconut chips, coconut butter, coconuts, coconut milk and of course coconut flour. So, the key ingredient of today s recipe is the coconut flour. Coconut flour is great for smoothies, cakes and all kinds of delicious goodies. It is easy to find at most healthy food stores and it is really affordable. It just makes the cookies or cakes so fluffy and delicious that you are just going to love them! YUM!

Coconut Brownies 2

For this coconut brownies recipe we need the following ingredients:

1 cup almond flour

1/2 cup coconut flour

1 cup gluten free oat flakes

1/2 cup raisins

1/4 cup coconut flakes

2-3 tbsp coconut oil

2-3 tbsp agave nectar

cinnamon

more coconut flakes to sprinkle on top of our brownies.

We use a food processor to mix all the ingredients until we get a thick and sticky consistency. We can add some almond or coconut milk if it is to dry, but otherwise we can just leave it as it is. Then we take our cake mixture and put in into a nice looking bowl, allow it to settle and then we can get to cutting our delicious brownies and decorating them as we wish. I used for mine some coconut chips, coconut flakes and also some cinnamon powder as well. They just taste delicious. Of course if you want to make them more like traditional browies you can just add some cacao powder to the mixture and yum, delicious brownies that are actually brown are ready to be served. I just preffered to have them white this time. But I love them with the chocolate flavour as well.
