Raw vegan veggie spreads are so delicious, healthy and fulfilling that I just love making all kinds of amazing combinations of ingredients as well as trying out new ingredients in order to find new textures and amazing goodness. We can add all kinds of spices and herbs to our delightul veggie spreads and have a great snack or even a wonderful meal just by serving them next to a big, colorful veggie salad or on top of some crunchy raw vegan crackers or even rice cakes, that can be also found at healthy food stores and even conventional supermarkets. It is really easy to live a happy, healthy and fulfilling life in those days, since we have got access to an abundance of fresh and crips produce all year around. Of course, it is best to choose regional and seasonal ingredients, but at least from time to time we might find it to be a wonderful experience to be indulging into some exotic and delicious produce.

For this green pepper spread we are going to use the following ingredints:
1 green bell pepper
1 avocado
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water (if needed for a creamier consistency)
1/4 onion
3-4 tbsp nutritional yeast
basil.
We use a blender to mix all the ingredients together until we get a thick soup like consistency, which is still creamy and smooth, if needed we can add more water, or if we want the spread to be thicker we can just add less water in the beggining. When the spread is ready, we can take it out of the blender and pour it into a nice looking serving bowl of choice. This veggie spread can be and is best served right away as the avocado tends to lose its color if we do not consume it right away, still it can be kept maybe for a few hours in the fridge and everything is going to be fine.
