Chia Pudding To Go

This week`s recipe is a super delightful and delicious, filling and nutritious chia pudding that you can take with you everywhere you go. It is very simple and easy to make, it is satiating and of course, it tastes absolutely divine. For the purpose of looking like “to go” I have re-used some nut butter jars, i just love those nut butter jars, they are just about the right size for a perfect dessert or breakfast serving. This recipe can be taken with you, on the go, if you decide to use jars, but it can also be served at home, right away. If this is the case, feel free to use a cup or a serving bowl or choices. If you want the layers and textures to be more visible choose something like a simple glass of water. It will simply look amazing and divine. YUM!

For this recipe we are going to use the same ingredients to make the chia pudding base and then we will make the two flavours by adding those ingredients separately to each one of the pudding cups or jars of choice. The ingredients that we are going to use are the following (for each serving):

2-3 tbsp chia seeds

1/2 cup nut drink

6-7 tbsp gluten free oats

1/2 banana

5-7 dates, chopped into small pieces.

We mix all the ingredients together and stir well until we get a smooth and creamy texture and then we add the extra flavoring for each serving: 1-2 tbsp cocoa powder or cocoa flavoured protein powder for an extra boots of healthy plant proteins ( I used hemp based chocolate protein powder for this one) and 2-3 tbsp coconut flakes, for the coconut flavoured pudding, stir well again and then we just have to let it sit for a while so that the chia seed will absorb all the liquids and expand, turning into a nice pudding like texture. This recipe can be served for breakfast, as a snack and definitely as a super healthy and nutritious raw vegan dessert choice.

Feel free to share this delicious recipe with your lovely friends and family members and enjoy getting healthy together. Making healthy and fulfilling choices on a day to day basis is a habit just like any other habit and it requires repetition in order to became second nature, but as soon as our bodies and our minds get used to the new habit, then everything unfolds naturally, in a healthy, balanced way. I truly believe that when we take care of our bodies and nourish ourselves with the most nutritious and fulfilling plant based foods available to us at all times, then we are really able to reach our full potential and live life to its fullest.
