Colorful Autumn Vibes

I absolutely love to take walks every single day. I love to walk outside the house both when its sunny and warm and even when its rainy, snowy or cold. I do go walk anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour daily and I think its super healthy both for the physical body as well as for the mind. Walking can be really nourishing, calming and helpful towards creating a peaceful state of mind and a peaceful state of being. Especially since so many of us might have trouble experimenting with the idea of meditating, for example, how about a walking meditation or a movement meditation? Suddenly it all feels so much easier to embrace. The best thing about walking is that it can be done pretty much anywhere and at anytime, and especially now since its the autumn season, it is absolutely divine to walk outside the house and admire the beauty and colors of the autumnal tones.

When we were little, me and my brother used to collect all kinds of things in the autumn season and not only, things such as cones, chestnuts, and other beauties that would fall off the trees. Of course, we would be doing dried leaves collections for school as well and we were going outside to play each and every day for at least a couple of hours, especially in the summer, as well as during the holidays. We have grown up walking to school and back from school and having this daily time to play, meet friends and do activities outside the house, which I think is a really great thing. I still do my daily walks, I do not spend that much time outside the house, as we did when we were younger, but I still have my 30 minutes to one hour of time outside, in nature. I find it very useful during my leisure time, as well as a great way to relax and refresh during my work breaks. I think it is super useful for productivity as well as for our overall well being to take breaks of 10-15 minutes to just get some fresh air and relax a bit during our work days.

Now, its autumn season and I personally believe that it is just the best time of the year to go outside and walk, play or do a movement meditation, dream, socialize and simply reconnect with nature. All the colors and the autumnal tones, the beauty of the trees and the colorful leaves, as well as the day temperatures which are still friendly, can definitely make it easier for us all to start right now a very helpful habit of taking a daily walk. We can just start with 10-15 minutes and grow up from there. No matter what might be on our minds or what excuses we might be trying to invoke, we can always perhaps walk to work or at least a part of the distance, take a walk around the block or even call a friend and get out together for a walk and have a beautiful time for re-connecting with someone that we care for. We can implement any habit that we desire for or that we choose for ourselves, all we have to do is keep doing it and simply enjoy the each and every moment as it unfolds.
