Since there is not that much left until Christmas and we have already had our first snow for this year, I have been thinking that it would be a great idea if I would simply share holiday related topics during my next weeks posts. Everything from healthy food choices during the winter holiday season to staying fit and in shape, gift ideas, decorations, traveling tips, new year plans and celebration tips for staying mindful and conscious of the choices that we make and so on, are going to be the main topics for my blog posts until the end of the year. I am very excited about this since the winter holiday season is one of my favorite times of the entire year. This, and my birthday of course. I love the cheer and joy that are all over the place and I am very happy as well and looking forward for the moment when the Christmas lights are going to be all over the place and light up every night. Still, there are two more weeks more probably until the lights are going to be available for enjoying, but until then we can definitely start embracing this beautiful holiday season.

The following weeks are going to be all about super delicious and nutritious recipes for the holiday seasons, everything from cheerful smoothies to joyful cookies, fulfilling vegan main courses and of course super tasty vegan drinks for the celebrations of this years festive winter season. I love to make beautiful looking and delightful tasting goodies all over the year, but especially at this time, when we are all more kind and more joyful, I find it to be a pleasure to try new combinations and enjoy the holiday seasonings such as oranges, cinnamon, nutmeg and so on. Those spices can be used for all kinds of amazing puddings, smoothies and of course desserts recipes. Main courses are also a big thing at this time of the year so I love to have plenty of color, super filling and creamy salads with delicious veggie pates and of course super crunchy and healthy raw vegan or vegan breads or crackers. Still, even if its cold outside and it is getting colder, a walk around the block or in a near by park works just fine before of after a filling and nutritious meal. And, as always, meditating or doing some daily yoga can help us stay grounded, calm and peaceful, even when we are trying to keep up with all the holiday events and plans that we are looking to succeed with.
