Green smoothies are one of my favorite ways to start the day energized and ready to embrace whatever might unfold during that specific day. This is the reason why I have decided to write today about the basic recipe that I generally use when I am making green smoothies. They definitely taste divine and are super delicious and nutritious, but if you still feel uncertain about it, I have got you covered. Good nutrition is by default the desire of many people who are self conscious and are constantly looking for more ways to improve their overall health, but I would add to that that it has also got to be pleasant in order for it to be sustainable for the long term.
When we are looking for establishing new habits or routines, factors like availability, how easy something actually is to implement, mindset, and of course setting up our environment in order to reflect that change that we are wanting to make can be very powerful in helping us succeed with ease and grace. The formation of a new habit or routine does take time, but when it is the right thing for our all well being and health in general and it also comes in an attractive and palatable format than it is going to be sustained with great joy for the long term.

My basic green smoothie recipe is all about nourishing your body and also delighting your taste buds at the same time. As always feel free to improvise and try out different ingredients in order to find out what fits best your own taste buds. For me personally, the following ingredients are staples when it comes to making a super delicious and nutritious green smoothie:
1 cup greens (baby spinach, valerian, romaine, individually or a mix or those)
1 ripe avocado
juice of 1-2 lemons
1 cup water
2-3 tbsp of wheat grass powder or 1 tbsp matcha powder.

We use a blender to mix all the ingredients together until we get a smooth and creamy consistency and then, when the smoothie is ready, we can take it out of the blender and pour it into a nice looking glass or jar of choice. It can also last up to 2 days in the fridge, just in case you want to meal prep in advance for the next days. I also do this pretty often. Other ingredients that I would occasionally add to the basic green smoothie recipe would be things like a piece of fruit, apple, pineapple or some orange juice, or might be even other green powders (moringa, spirulina, chlorella).
Feel free to share this delicious recipe with your lovely friends and family members and enjoy getting healthy together. Making healthy and fulfilling choices on a day to day basis is a habit just like any other habit and it requires repetition in order to became second nature, but as soon as our bodies and our minds get used to the new habit, then everything unfolds naturally, in a healthy, balanced way. I truly believe that when we take care of our bodies and nourish ourselves with the most nutritious and fulfilling plant based foods available to us at all times, then we are really able to reach our full potential and live life to its fullest.
