So, today is all about my favorite dessert on planet Earth, actually, I think that I could survive by just eating this one recipe and coconuts in general, simply because I just love anything that has coconuts in it, its the base for pretty much any successful recipe, three times a day and live happily ever after. Of course I am just kidding, too much of anything, even if its a good thing its not going to be having the initial benefits, nor give us the same pleasure anymore, so just for this holiday season and celebratory meals, I am going to share with you today a (new, of course, I probably have like thousands of brownie recipes already, just because I love them so much) super tasty, delicious and nutritious raw vegan brownie recipe. Yum! This is not just a blessing in disguise, but it is also quite filling, and you don’t even have to eat so much of it in order to feel really grateful. And also great about yourself and the conscious choices that you are learning to make on a day to day basis.

Therefore, here are the ingredients that we are going to need in order to prepare our super delicious and nutritious holiday brownies:
For the brownie base:
a mix of hazelnuts and almonds about 1 cup
1/2 cup of dates or date paste
carob / cocoa powder also about 1/2 cup
1/2 cup coconut flakes
spices of your choices – I personally like to sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon into this mix for a little extra deliciousness.

We use a food processor to mix all of the ingredients together until we get a thick and sticky consistency, which we can then spread or mix into a shape of our choices. We can either roll this mixture into small brownie balls, or we can make little squares, whichever way you personally prefer it is still going to taste amazing so just give it a go.

For the brownie chocolate cream:
1/4 cup hazelnuts
sweetener or choice, it can be liquid like agave nectar or solid like dates or date paste – just adjust it according to your own sweetness preferences
cacao / carob powder 1/4 cup
coconut milk – or even better some coconut butter for an absolutely divine and blissful taste
optional we can also use or alternatively we can also use cacao butter or coconut oil.

We mix the ingredients into a blender until we get a smooth and creamy consistency, which we then either roll our brownies delicious and nutritious balls through, or we just spread it on top of the brownie squares.

Last but not least we can add some extra toppings like grounded or whole nuts, I used hazelnuts, coconut flakes, cacao or carob powder or any other things that you might want to sprinkle on top of your own brownies. As always, feel free to get inspired, improvise and find what best fits your own preferences and taste buds. These delicious goodies can be served right away, or they can also kept in the fridge for latter serving for up to a few days.
