Winter Holiday Season

Winter is here again or at least almost here, some snowflakes have already been falling on the ground and I have to say that I am already getting excited about this years Christmas as well as all the seasonal and regional celebrations and traditions. I love to listen to Christmas songs, admire the seasonal decorations and the Christmas lights and this year I have also decided to get a Christmas tree, an alive one, of course and get it decorated too, as well as decorate the apartment that I live in and just spread some Christmas cheer and join around the place. Yum! Of curse I will also be celebrating this years holiday season with super delicious and nutritious raw vegan and vegan recipes and goodies and just be grateful, feel grateful and enjoy the season wonders as they unfold. This is why I have also decided that the theme for this month, here on the blog, is going to be all about Christmas and this years holiday season. This month I am going to share with you all that I do to prepare for Christmas and to celebrate this amazing season, as well as of course amazing, nutritious and delicious recipes for this winter holiday season.

Its going to be all about Christmas trees, Christmas goodies, decorations and lights and all about the wonderful emotions and feelings that are being wide awake during the annual celebrations of the winter holiday season and just all about being good and doing good, not just for ourselves but also for all other living beings and of course, for the planet too. For me, it all starts with the alive Christmas tree, making a choice to take care of this tree not just during the holiday season, but also after the holiday season is over, and then for the next years until, the tree is big enough and I can just make a conscious choice of planting it back in nature, perhaps until then I will be also having a garden, so that we can still be together, or we will see what unfolds, but my most important commitment is to take amazing and great care of Jingle (my Christmas tree) and make sure it has all that it needs to thrive and grow into a big, beautiful tree. I would even go further and say, that perhaps for me, this season is very special because I feel even more connected with myself then ever and I am extremely grateful and joyful to be given this amazing opportunity of taking great care of Jingle and a few more winter trees (which you are also going to see here on the blog in some future posts).

Feel free to share this months posts with your lovely friends and family members, be inspired to make conscious and sustainable choices this Christmas season, and why not, even extend those choices, after the winter holiday season is over for this year, and take them with you for the rest of your amazing and inspiring life journey. Making healthy and fulfilling choices on a day to day basis is a habit just like any other habit and it requires repetition in order to became second nature, but as soon as our bodies and our minds get used to the new habit, then everything unfolds naturally, in a healthy, balanced way. I truly believe that when we take care of our selves and the planet and act in a sustainable and inspiring way, then we are really able to reach our full potential and live life to its fullest. Life is made to be lived with a sense of purpose and meaning, and by constantly practicing conscious living, conscious being we are bringing meaning and purpose into our lives, therefore redefining our sense of sustainability and well being in general and being therefore able to live a happy, healthy and fulfilling life as a result, while also taking great care of the planet and its amazing resources and act in a sustainable, supportive way.
