I absolutely love and adore my journaling practice. It helps me get to know myself better, understand myself better as well as set my goals and dream big, understand what really matters most for myself as an unique and amazing individual living in this day and age, set up my priorities in order and just live life to its fullest, by simply being present into the moment as it unfolds. I started journaling a long while ago, and over the years I had many ways of actually doing it and being commited to it. When I was little I just loved to write about my dreams and desires and do what we nowadays call visualization practices, I did this in my mind by daydreaming, as well as on paper, by writing about it, what made me feel great and not only, what I woud have liked to experience in order to make myself feel great. There is something almost magic, absolutely amazing about putting your dreams on paper and connecting with your inner truth through different practices, may it be journaling, walks in nature or yoga practices (those are my own go tos) or anything else that works for you and your own individual and unique needs. Bringing ourselves to a safe place of grounding, loving energy is trully and fully amazing and a diving experience. Life is a journey and we are energetic beings, therefore by tapping into that energy that we desire to manifest into our own day to day lives, we bring ourselves one step closer to that beautiful manifestation process. With journaling, as with life in general, there might be challenging, triggering moments and events along the way, sometimes we might not be wanting to go deeper and deeper into the abyss as it might hurt and it might be painful to witness our pain, our traumas from past or present events, but I invite you to give it a go anyway, as it is, no matter what, always deeply and fully worth it, no matter what. It is all a journey, so just simply fully enjoy it and embrace it as it unfolds!

My current journaling practice is mostly a two part story: goal setting and follow up on my goals in progress as well as therapeutic. I have a goal setting and priorities journal and a therapeutic journal. One I use for the obvious reasons of setting my goals, I set goals on a yearly, quarterly and monthly basis in general, and then on occasion I might also do it on a weekly or daily basis. But I always work with my goals for the current month, current quarter and the ongoing year. For example this year is all about independence for me, it is the key goal, the key theme for this year and its manifestation through various channels such as: having my own space, financial independence, thriving in and at my current job and my creative work, and so on and so forth. Its all about working towards something that reflects my most important values and that helps me consciously shape my future in order to be able to manifest what matters most for me at this moment in time and space in my own unique and amazing life journey. On the other hand, the therapeutic journal is about the day to day events that might take me off track or that might bring me to a-ha moments or just connecting to the source of love and divine inspiration from within, going through sometimes what we might call challenging moment or events and coming to the other side of the story with a clear lesson in mind, or a healing journey ahead. Its also about identifying my own triggers and enhancing my therapeutic journey of not only getting to know myself better and understand myself better but also became aware of past traumas or moments of pain and hurt and heal those moments, heal myself along the way, as this awesome and amazing life journey continues to unfold on a day to day basis. Its not always easy, for sure, but what I deeply know and trust within myself is that it is always worth it in the end, as it brings me closer to living and being in my truth always, at all times.
