Winter Holiday Season

This winter holiday season is right around the corner and I am so excited about this so that is why I have decided that this year I am going to share with you once again, some of my favorite things to do, stuff to get and things to enjoy during this magical and wonderful time of the year. It all starts with getting your lovely, fluffy and cosy winter clothes ready for this years seasonal celebrations. Also it is about taking a break from running around in circles, doing things constantly and just taking a deep breath, listening to your soul, and perhaps even enjoy some winter holiday cheer, such as some carols, perhaps a walk in nature, a laugh in the snow, coming soon, or just having a hot drink in your own comfy winter sweater and reading a good book or meeting a friend that you haven`t really seen for a long while, or a short while, it does not matter, its all about what coziness and celebrations, cheer and joy means to you personally, and individually.

Speaking of the individual side of thigs, of course the holiday season is not just about rest, relax and cozy time for yourself and by yourself, which of course is in and of itself a wonderful gift for yourself, but also about celebrating those magical times with your close friends and family members and any other loved ones. This time of the year is trully and fully a blessing and a gift and for that, I am personally trully and fully grateful. I am ready to enjoy and celebrate this season as it has been for me personally a long, challenging year, but in the end what matters most is all the lessons we have learned along the way and what or how we have become better at handling those difficult situation, as one thing is for sure, they will keep coming as a normal part of your daily lives.

Still, I might find it challenging at times to deal with the kind of difficult or thought situations life might bring, be it health challenges or mental challenges or even spiritual challenges, I have always seen, that by the end of the journey of getting to know oneself, there is always something to be grateful for, or to learn from a particular process or situation, it may not be visible right away, but at some point in our lives it all settles and it becames more clear why we have been through something and what we had to learn from it. Therefore, even in the midst of challenging situations I simply try to remind myself that, in order to keep some hope in mind, and of course, anything comfy and cozy like a colorful warm sweater, drinking a cup of a warm lovely and delicious winter bevarage, or even reading a good book, or cozying up with a nice magazine, especially on vegan or spirituality topics, can help me navigate the journey with more ease and grace.

We all have our own coping mechanisms built up in time and with time in order to protect us from what we perceive as threats to our own safety or welbeing, but still, by learning through being in therapy or by ourselves to just listen and tune into our selves at least from time to time we became better and better at handling life`s challenges and seing that as opportunities for constant learning, development and growth, be it on the mental, physical or spiritual side of things, but I am pretty sure that during our beautiful and amazing life spans we do encounter them all, and we get to the other side of things, perhaps a little bit wiser, more kind and more compassionate towards ourselves as well as towards everyone else out there on the planet, be it a human being, an animal, a plant or even the planet itself. We are all guided by the spirit of love and compassion, that is our true nature, and that is where we always feel at home, and return back to in times of challenge, wonder or any other truth seeking means.
