Next stop on our self-confidence, self-nourishment and self-love journey throughout the month of February is self-nourishment. Of course, as you already know if you have been following my blog posts for a while or simply if your read my intro section about me, I am super passionate about raw vegan living, yoga, mindful eating and being and simply living a life that you truly love and enjoy. Sure food is nourishment for our bodies, especially when we make conscious choices and stay in alignment with what our bodies truly need which also involves at some point healthy cravings as we get to know ourselves better along the way. Movement and breathing consciously are also great example for how one can nourish oneself, being in sync with life itself, staying in motion, and once again listening to what our bodies need in terms of health and wellbeing, and yes, at some point you do start craving movement as well as healthy foods. It’s just simply amazing.

Still self-nourishment is not just about our bodies, but also our minds and souls. A wonderful gift cheers us up and has to potential to brighten up our day, especially when it is something that we really love and appreciate, and what a better way to nourish ourselves than by making our own selves a gifts. It can be quality time, time in stillness, but it can also be something material, such as a lovely book, jewellery, flowers, or something that we really really love ( I personally adore scarfs and I have an entire collection). Those gifts that we make ourselves don’t have to be time or energy consuming, or more importantly expensive, of course not, only if we wish them to be and this is something that gets us in touch with our own unique truth, otherwise this should not be a block, we can always think of creative ways of affordable gifts or even experiential gifts, like for example cooking a nice dish, making photos, dancing around the house, playing with our dog, and so on. Life is a blessing and by celebrating ourselves we are celebrating life itself. Stay true to yourself, enjoy the moment!
