I simply love starting my day with a super delicious and nutritious green smoothie and of course my favorite recipe of all times: raw vegan brownies. I just adore brownies of all kind, its been my first raw vegan recipe that I have tried and that I have made by myself and they are just adorable. I think it’s a pretty nutritious pair to start your day as well, packed with fresh foods and delicious nutrients its sunshine in a glass and on a plate. Yum! Therefore I am going to to share with you today the basic raw vegan brownie recipe that I love so much as well as the basic raw vegan green smoothie that is super creamy and tasty too. Pure perfection!
For the green smoothie we are going to need the following ingredients:
1-2 ripe bananas
1/2 cup – 1 cup baby spinach
maca powder
1 cup of nut milk of choice, I have chosen coconut milk for mine simply because I just love all about coconuts.
We blend all the ingredients together until we get a smooth and creamy consistency and then, when the smoothie is ready it can be served right away or kept in the fridge for later for up to 2 days.

Now for the coconut brownies recipe we are going to need the following:
1 cup dates
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1 cup cashews or any other nuts of choice
2-3 tbsp cocoa powder or carob powder
We mix all the ingredients together in a food processor until we get a sticky and thick consistency and then we can move on to shaping our brownies by using a cookie cutter or any other shaping tool of choice. We finally sprinkle some more coconut flakes on top of the brownies, add a few cashew for a nice look and our delicious and nutritious raw vegan brownies are ready to be served.
