Raw vegan brownies are simply my “all times” favorite food. It’s also the first recipe that I ever made by myself in the raw vegan mode, and it is as well how I started my own journey experimenting with the raw vegan lifestyle more than 10 years ago. I have also posted here, on the blog lots of raw vegan recipes, as well as other recipes for not only healthy and nutritious goodies, but also tasty and easy to make delicious dishes, mostly desserts, as I started my blog in 2015, but as the years passed I have also shared lots of other raw vegan goodies, and I have to say its still an ongoing process, always shifts and changes, but I am still committed to it and still its just an amazing experience that I am so happy to have as a part of my day to day living and being in the now.

Today’s post is about those delicious and super nutritious brownie bites and the ingredients, as well as the instructions for preparing those raw vegan goodies, can be found bellow:
dates about 1 cup, I used a 200g bag;
coconut flakes also about 1 cup, 200g or even 250 g bag, you can save some for the topping – about 50 g should be about enough;
cocoa powder 2-3 tbsp;
almond / coconut milk 2-3 tbsp to create a good texture for this mix of ingredients;
maca powder 1 tbsp – 2 tbsp.
We use a food processor to mix all the ingredients together until we reach a thick and sticky consistency, and then, when we get our desired texture, we can form our brownie bites or cut them into shapes of our own choice.

If we want them to be more creamy we can also add some coconut butter or even cocoa butter. As the final touch I added to mine some peanut butter for the serving, and they simply tasted absolutely divine. We can of course serve them right away, or keep them in the fridge, they should last for about a couple of days, just be careful if you are adding the coconut or cacao butter, to not add to much of it, as they tend to get really hard and not so fluffy when refrigerated for a while, but if you are serving them right away, then the coconut or cacao butter works perfectly fine in this case.

Feel free to share this delicious recipe with your lovely friends and family members and enjoy getting healthy together. Making healthy and fulfilling choices on a day to day basis is a habit just like any other habit and it requires repetition in order to became second nature, but as soon as our bodies and our minds get used to the new habit, then everything unfolds naturally, in a healthy, balanced way. I truly believe that when we take care of our bodies and nourish ourselves with the most nutritious and fulfilling plant based foods available to us at all times, then we are really able to reach our full potential and live life to its fullest.
