We all know that movement and fresh air are great for us, but sometimes its just hard to escape the city life, the city struggles and the daily overwhelmed of being a human being with a job, having to provide as well as exist and be excited about life at the same time. Lots of good stuff is coming our way but sometimes is just hard to filter out the good from the bad, the clear from the not so clear things. Ambivalence is just the killer of our biggest dreams as it tends to dilute our focus and make us even doubt our intentions in the first place. But there is still hope out there in our modern super technological world, to just simply pause and take a break, be still with ourselves in order to allow us to be moved in ways that matter most. I do love going for walks in nature, its an absolutely amazing mix between movement and getting some fresh air, as well as perhaps at times, a change in the landscapes that we are surrounding ourselves with, especially when living in a big and crowded city, its good to just get outside in nature from time to time to recharge and regroup, restore our energy levels in a meaningful and mindful way.

I personally love going for walks with my dogs, for now, most of them are individual walks, if we are talking about longer ones, but I have also started going for some longer walks with both of my dogs, we are still working on this, as it is pretty hard to walk two dogs if they are not walking properly, so to speak, on a leash, but it is a work in progress so that’s what matters most. A change in the surrounding spaces that are around us is also good, just to be able to reconnect with nature on a regular basis is a great exercise not just for our physical health, but for our mental health as well. Just walking in a different space can help us experience a shift in perception, recharge and refocus ourselves so that we can focus on what matters most. Dogs are also great companions for us when it comes to spending time outside, and especially in nature, as they have their own ways of celebrating this and are getting lots of benefits too. Dogs also need movement as we do, as well as mental stimulation that comes along the way, in order to be happy healthy companions. So, it works on both sides and it’s just a great opportunity for meaningful connection as well as play. We also need to let go of struggle and play from time to time, and a good play with our dogs is just going to do some magic on our overworked brains.

Go out there, breathe deep and have fun!
Enjoy the moment and embrace it fully as it unfolds.
Have a wonderful day ahead!
