We are, as human beings, in charge of our amazing lives and while we do have the power to make choices, decisions and take action in the directions of what (re)connects us to our true selves, there is still always a good idea and a nice practice to be aware of, to remind ourselves of the power of our thoughts and the amazing ways in which our thoughts shape and direct our lives on a day to day basis. As it has been scientifically proven, most of our thoughts are just copies of the thoughts of the day before today, and while we may not be consciously paying so much attention to this matter, there is always here a great space and a great sense of opportunity when it comes to taking back control over our lives, embracing change and the unknown as it unfolds by simply becoming aware of those default setting by which our minds and bodies operate and integrating mindful changes slowly and gradualy. When we think about it, thoughts are just another form of energy, an energy that is as a matter of fact the bridge between our imagination and the real word, thoughts can remain at this level, but they can also turn our potential into actions and behaviours, or even trigger emotional reactions of specific feelings. Thoughts cannot only shape or reshape our reality, but they can actually help us build our own reality from the ground up and that is simply divine energy.
The moment we open ourselves up to receiving guidance, be it on the physical level or on a more spiritual level, we are going to be experiencing a sense of flexibility and openness in both mind and body and start to experience a shift in perception as well. We do not have to know it all or have it all figure out, but instead, it is quite a big thing to just surrender from time to time and embrace life as it unfolds. Thoughts have a unique way of shaping our reality and our day to day lives by simply contributing hopefully, to our own wellbeing and general health, when we choose thoughts that are infused with the energy of love, compassion and kindness as well as respect and a deep sense of faith and trust, then we are going to attract more of those experiences into our amazing lives on a regular basis. While, on the contrary side, when we cultivate a sense of a scarcity mindset, filled with judgement and blame, shaming and so on, then we are going to attract a different outcome, and experience different surroundings in our day to day lives. A simple shift in perception can literally change everything from one moment to the next, as perception is a choice, not a fact, and we can build it from the ground up in order to serve our own unique purpose and create a meaningful experience for ourselves as well as for everyone else who might also be a part of our lives journey at some specific point in time and space. Being open to explore our current mindset and the benefits and costs of a specific way of seeing the world, is having the courage to heal and let go of what no longer serves us anymore.

By taking responsibility for our current mindset and ways of seeing and interacting with the world, our inner world, as well as the outer world, we allow ourselves to change, to explore options, to keep an open mind, and to embrace healing and growth as they unfold naturally into our lives. Sometimes all we have to do, is to just take a step back and see the whole picture, choose a different angle to look at what might see like a road block or a challenging situation. When we give ourselves the opportunity to shift our minds towards a solution, then the Universe delivers as well, when we surrender, we are always going to be guided and protected by the source of love within, always, at all times. Everything happens for a reason, and in the end it will all eventually make sense. Sometimes all we have to do is just a take a deep breath, take a break from that challenging or overwhelming, overstimulating situation and reassess. Let go of what no longer serves and have faith that what is meant for us, as unique, amazing and diving beings will eventually unfold into our lives, and as a matter of fact, it is already on its way to us, we just have to surrender, stay open and allow ourselves to receive this amazing and unique divine guidance. Sometimes the outcome of our wishes and desires might not look exactly as we expected it to be, but perhaps, even when its hard to take it in, this is simply the best option for us, at this moment, and that is ok. Surrendering is also an act of self care, self love and self nurturing, as we are tapping into that divine alignment, of everything happening for a reason at the exact time, space and in the exact context that it did unfold, and eventually it will in the end all make sense.
The practice of surrender teaches us to not only let go of restrictive and judgemental thoughts and thought processes, but it also opens us a window of possibilities towards finding new ways, more functional perhaps, of approaching and embracing reality as it unfolds. Once again, the thoughts that we choose to bring and allow into our lives, do have the power to shape our reality on a day to day basis and direct us towards choosing what we would like to focus on in our lives at the exact same time. Therefore when we focus on and cultivate thoughts that come from a space of lightness, compassion and kindness then we are actively bringing those kinds of energies and related experiences into our lives. But when we choose to focus on the negative aspects, then we get to manifest those aspects and even more challenges and difficulties as well. It’s never too late to change ourselves and our thought systems in order to find a better way to cope with stress and to take better care of ourselves and our bodies in general. By simply choosing to stay conscious, be aware of the thoughts and belief systems that we are cultivating into our day to day lives, and of course by taking responsibility for our actions and reactions, we can move towards better outcomes, make better choices and ultimately live better lives on a day to day basis, in the end it is all about making a conscious choice to stay aware, stay open and flexible in both mind and body, and just see what unfolds.
