Sometimes, many times, we simply get into a sort of routine of doing things in a specific way in order for it all to fall into place and forget to ask ourselves, at least from time to time, is this really working for me? Or it is still working for me? Perhaps a certain routine or set of behaviours have been beneficial and functional on a general basis for a long time, but maybe it simply no longer serves us anymore. We expect the same predictable outcomes and repeat the same behaviours in order to get the same results, but what if what was once perfectly comfortable and suitable for our day to day existence, simply no longer serves a purpose in our current, constantly changing and evolving lives? It is a good thing to just take a step back, once in a while, and reflect upon such things, in order to be able to get better, feel better, and find more functional ways to navigate our day to day lives.
Getting out of our comfort zones is not only about doing something crazy or out of the ordinary, even though it may produce a psychological or emotional disconfort up to some point, and that is perfectly natural, but instead its maybe sometimes, just a shift in perspective, a way of seeing things differently and a way of looking out for a better, more true to ourselves version of things and a path to our own constant development and growth. It can feel like an exploration or it can feel pretty dull, but nonetheless it is always worth it to check in with ourselves from time to time and see what unfolds. It doesn’t have to be hard work necessarily, but it will most probably involve some kind of disconfort up to some degree, but this is always manageable. As we extend our comfort zones and explore new territories, both on the physical level as well as on a cognitive and mental, or even a spiritual level, we get to not only know ourselves better, but also treat ourselves better and live ultimately better lives.

Its just mind-blowing how we can so easily get caught up with our patterns and grooves and simply forget to ask ourselves those simple questions, but in the end it all boils down to the act of self-reflection and self-exploration at the same time. Its just an act of kindness towards ourselves, as well as an open exploration towards: what would it be like if … how could things unfold if … letting the mind as well as the body stay flexible in those processes is a way of caring for ourselves, as well as our overall wellbeing and health. Its not always an act or a great gesture that makes the biggest shifts in life, but quite the opposite, many times its just about taking small steps towards the direction of our dreams, in a constant and consistent matter, that ends up building momentum and generates valuable and sustainable changes in time.
Now, I just want to invite you to take a deep breath and ask yourself today this simple question: is this (particular behaviour / situation / environment / whatever comes to mind) really working for me? Or it is still working for me? Is this really serving me right now, is it working out for me? Or is it just a thing that no longer serves to my best interest anymore? What change could I integrate into my life in order to do better / feel better / get better? Simply choose yourself and let go of the old conditioning that has got you caught into a dysfunctional or no longer functional pattern. Let your intuition guide your way, trust the process and enjoy the journey as it unfolds. You are truly and fully always guided and taken care of and there is always amazing opportunity awaiting for you to simply make a conscious choice in order for it to just unfold gracefully and fully into your day to day life.
